When Haolonggood announced their Diabloceratops it was one of the few ceratopsians by the company that I didn’t intend to purchase.
It’s been awhile since the last Haolonggood reveal, but here finally is the Utahceratops pair.
Those frill patterns really do look like bulging eyes, don’t they?

Biggest by far of all known maniraptorans, bearer of the longest claws of any known animal, and just downright rocambolesque to the human eye, Therizinosaurus is one truly remarkable dinosaur. It’s been made into a toy by many of the major companies, including Safari Ltd.
Here’s something that ought to make any dedicated dinosaur fan sit up and take notice: the very first toy of Ingentia prima, the “first huge one,” courtesy of CollectA!
Ingentia was a basal sauropodomorph that lived in South America during the Late Triassic period.
I, EmperorDinobot, have a less than healthy obsession with the Beasts of the Mesozoic. These are the dinosaurs I wanted to own as a kid. Dinosaurs that were articulated beyond what Kenner and later Hasbro’s dinosaurs could do. And here I am, roughly two decades later, sitting in bed with my own personal computer doing what I always did as a kid: browsing the catalogs which sometimes came in the boxes, or just the back of the card for some figures, always plotting what I should get next.

Our team of eight reviewers – EmperorDinobot, Faelrin, Gwangi, Saarlooswolfhound, SBell, Suspsy, Torvosaurus, and myself – have been beavering away with plenty of new content to kick the site off with a monstrous bang.
Recently, Mattel has started dabbling with small-figure two packs, first with an Eoraptor vs. Stegouros pairing and then with the set we’re looking at today, Guanlong vs. Lystrosaurus. I think these two packs are a fantastic idea and hope that Mattel will produce more of them in the future.

It’s about time we got a short-faced bear toy! Most Arctodus depictions show it with brown fur like a grizzly, but this one looks more like a spectacled bear instead.
Definitely a must-have!
Mojo Fun has revealed a new prehistoric toy for next year: the Middle Jurassic plesiosaur Cryptoclidus.
Despite having appeared in the BBC Walking With Dinosaurs series back in 1999, Cryptoclidus has never gotten a toy from any of the major companies until now.
The latest reveal for the Jurassic World Hammond Collection is not a dinosaur and has not yet made an appearance in a movie or a TV series, but it is most definitely welcome: Scutosaurus.
