Mattel has revealed a fifth titan (sixth if you count the regular and Hammond Collection Brachiosaurus toys separately) for their Jurassic World Legacy Collection and it’s one that has never featured in any of the movies before: Diplodocus!
The slated release date is September.

Howdy from wonderful, windy Wyoming! Today we’ll take a look at the Honourable Lead Boiler Suit (HLBS) Allosaurus. This model is okay until you get to the head, which will be analyzed below. It isn’t one of HLBS’s best models, but not quite the worst either.
Eofauna announced earlier today that production of their Tyrannosaurus SUE figure is at last complete and that it is en route to their warehouse with a projected arrival date of May. Check out the detail in that huge and lethal mouth. Better than the usual straight pink that we’re accustomed to seeing in theropod mouths.
Over the last four years, we’ve gotten toys of Edmontosaurus from Safari, CollectA, Schleich, and PNSO. Now Haolonggood is throwing its hat into the ring with these two beauties.
Like those other toys, these ones feature combs atop their craniums, thereby implying that they represent E.
Now here’s something unprecedented from Mattel. No, not a prehistoric pseudosuchian most people have never heard of. Mattel likes those, and this is that too. What makes this one unique is that it represents an animal that lived during the Cenozoic. The era immediately following the Mesozoic and the one in which we’re currently living.
It’s been awhile since the last PNSO reveal, but now check out Yiran the Lufengosaurus.
The light green coloration looks very sharp. And it’s always great to see a new basal sauropodomorph figure.

They have not officially released any names, but the genera appear to be:
Top row, left to right: Mamenchisaurus, Huayangosaurus, Amargasaurus, Camarasaurus, Tarchia.
Middle row, left to right: Gastonia, Euoplocephalus, Maiasaura, Stegosaurus, Edmontosaurus.
One of the biggest and admittedly funniest fiascos in paleontological history involved the legendary American paleontologist Edward Drinker Cope and the famous plesiosaur Elasmosaurus platyurus. The latter’s fossil remains were first discovered in 1867 in the Pierre Shale Formation of Kansas and formally described by Cope in 1869.
After four series the Monster in my Pocket line began to run out of actual monsters to make, and began to take inspiration from the real world instead. Series five was a line of ‘Super Creepies’, essentially an array of extant bugs and other creepy crawlies, and series six turned its attention to dinosaurs in 1993 – that’s the line we’re all interested in here.

Howdy from wonderful, windy Wyoming! Today we’ll take a look at the DeeZee (DZ) Liopleurodon. DeeZee figures were incorporated with the Honourable Lead Boiler Suit figures and sold as one line, as additions to HLBS’s Saurian Safari game.
Haolonggood’s first (but presumably not last) ceratopsian of the year is Chasmosaurus, known from many complete specimens, but perhaps not as flashy as Triceratops, Styracosaurus, or Pentaceratops.
So which colour scheme is your preference?
In which I unbox ‘the birthday Liopleurodon’, a gift from mum and dad, and recount its epic journey from bondage to freedom and onto my display shelves. The toy is the Jurassic Clash action figure by Lanard Ltd.

With 47 votes the PNSO Saurophaganax is poised to win the prestigious title of figure of the year on the Dinosaur Toy Forum’s Top 10 of 2023 poll. And rightly so, it’s a fantastic figure. One of the best theropod models I’ve ever seen, and quite possibly the best “Allosaurus” ever.
My, my, my, how Recur has improved since 2016! The animals comprising their latest prehistoric assortment look genuinely great and still retain all the durability and play value that has made the company a success. It should be exciting to see these reviewed on the blog!
