LEGO is marking the 30th anniversary of Jurassic Park with five new sets based on scenes from the film, including the first ever Brachiosaurus figure. These are all slated for release on June 1.

PNSO’s second reveal for the year is Mungo the Meraxes! This giant carcharodontosaur was only described in 2022, so props to PNSO for being on top of the latest paleontology news. The grey colour scheme is pretty cool too, a welcome change from previous PNSO theropods.
Jurassic Park/World fans should be very excited by all the new Hammond Collection toys that have been revealed this week, both of the dinosaur and human persuasion.

Earlier this week, we saw the reveal of the very retro-looking Electronic Real Feel Tyrannosaurus rex. Now check out its packaging, which is similarly a homage to the original 1993 Jurassic Park packaging by Kenner.
Also newly revealed are three additional Classic ’93 products.
Among the many new toys Mattel is releasing for this year is the Electronic Real Feel Skin Tyrannosaurus rex. The colour scheme is clearly a homage to the original Electronic T. rex from Kenner’s 1993 Jurassic Park line, while the swallowing gimmick with a retrieval slit in the belly is reused from the Bull T.
PNSO’s first reveal for the year is a new version of Lucas the Giganotosaurus. This looks like it will be one of the very best renditions of the southern giant lizard yet.
For the third year in a row, Mojo Fun is releasing a Cenozoic mammal as their sole prehistoric figure. This time, it’s Coelodonta, the woolly rhinoceros, which should go well with the 2022 woolly mammoth.

Images of Playmobil’s 2023 Dino Rise line have appeared online, but disappointingly, all the prehistoric animals are repaints of previously released moulds, most of which have been in production since 2007. They still look like they’ll be fun to play with, however!
Tyrannosaurus rex.
Bullyland’s 2023 catalogue has revealed a new prehistoric release: Tyrannosaurus rex. While clearly not in the same league as other recent renditions of the tyrant lizard, it will undoubtedly be fun for younger dinosaur enthusiasts to play with.
For 2023, Schleich will be releasing five dinosaurs, with four of them newcomers to the brand.Â

In addition, there will be a demonic-looking Shadow Raptor to go with Schleich’s Eldrador fantasy line.
Papo’s 2023 prehistoric assortment includes a pair of new dinosaurs.
Also slated for release are these two impressive-looking sea reptiles, which were originally supposed to come out this year.
These previously retired figures will be re-released.
