Greetings DinoWaurriors! Once more, I bring you a species from the battling trading figure series, this time Brachiosaurus! Given the size and popularity of the species, it’s unsurprising they would add it to the line. Is his a gem or a dud though?

Review: Brachiosaurus (Jurassic World Legacy Collection by Mattel)
Review: Brachiosaurus (Procon/Collecta)
In this review, I am going back to the mid-2000’s, to a time when Collecta was not the producer of high quality models they are now. They weren’t even called Collecta, but Procon. Many know of the fairly awful examples put out by the company then, but I am going to review one of the figures that showed genuine potential.
Review: Brachiosaurus (ANIA/Animal Adventure by Takara Tomy)
Brachiosaurus marks the fourth prehistoric animal Takara Tomy produced for their Animal Adventure (ANIA) line, following Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops, and Stegosaurus. The figure is a decent – if unremarkable – depiction of the long-necked giant, which I think it’s safe to say has eclipsed Apatosaurus/Brontosaurus as the default iconic sauropod.
Review: Brachiosaurus (AR Dinosaurs by CollectA)
CollectA AR (which I presume stands for “augmented reality”) is the company’s venture into the seemingly infinite world of apps for your mobile phone or tablet. It consists of twelve blindpacked miniatures: the Baryonyx, Diplodocus, Mosasaurus, Parasaurolophus, Pteranodon, Stegosaurus, Triceratops, and Tyrannosaurus rex from Prehistoric Tube A and the Ankylosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Spinosaurus, and Velociraptor from Tube B.
Review: Prehistoric Animals (Panini, review part 2)
Figure numbers 13 to 15 are a trio of marine reptiles, and their dark blue colour works very well for aquatic animals.
Review: Gentle Giants Petting Zoo (Jurassic World by Lego Duplo)
“Good day, fellow dinosaur lovers! Time once again to delve deep into the world of Lego with yours truly, Dr. Bella Bricking, along with the indispensable Beth Buildit! And how is little Bronwyn today, Beth?”
“She’s just fine, Doc. Although I’m still not sure my sister would be cool with all this.”
“Stuff and nonsense, Beth, she’s going to have a perfectly lovely adventure just like last time!

Review: Dinosaur Mini Tub A (Papo)
Review: Dinosaurs (LEGO Duplo)
Review: Brachiosaurus (Junior by Schleich)
For my second review, I will be considering a classic: the Schleich ‘Junior’ Brachiosaurus from back in 2002. It is essentially a smaller and slightly modified version of the even older original 1993 Replica-Saurus sculpt.
