My overview of Wing Crown’s 7 inch ‘Cartoon Series’ continues with their Triceratops. This is definitely my least favourite in the set and I think the ‘cartoonification’ went a little too far.

Takara Tomy is a brand stretching a wide range across toy production, from miniature cars to blockbuster IP tie-ins, to wildlife and extinct life replicas. Beginning in the early 2010s, Tomy began releasing the ANIA “Animal Adventure” series, a line of palm-sized action figures featuring extant and extinct animal life.
Review: Furcatoceratops (CollectA)

Furcatoceratops is a recently discovered centrosaurine ceratopsid from Montana’s Judith River Formation. The holotype specimen is an 80% complete subadult that includes much of the skull, both the left front and hind legs, parts of the pelvis, and a good many vertebrae and ribs.

Xenoceratops is a genus of centrosaurine discovered in the Foremost Formation in Alberta, Canada, and that lived during the late Cretaceous.

The year 2024 saw a steep decline in the number of models produced by PNSO, 7 models compared to 15 in 2023. Now we’re a month into 2025 with radio silence from PNSO, which has led some to worry about the company’s future.

Diabloceratops is a dinosaur in a curious position. Despite relatively little fame or pop culture presence, the “devil-horned face” has been a popular choice of genus for toy companies; Safari ltd., Collecta, Schleich, Mattel, and recently Haolonggood, among still others, have all taken a crack at the animal, with surprisingly good results in general.

Although another Triceratops is probably the last thing any of us need in our collections (certainly mine) this one from Yowie Group is decent enough to deserve some time in the spotlight on the Dinosaur Toy Blog. It comes from Yowie Groups Ultimate Dinosaur series which is currently available in various shop across the United States.
