Part 1 of Kaiyodo Dinoland Natural History review series

Greetings dinofans and welcome to another review! I promise its not another Spinosaur review this time! Haha.

Kaiyodo is perhaps more well known for their small size set of prehistoric figures, such as the Dinotales and Chocholasaurus. Many years ago, Kaiyodo released a collection of large, hollow vinyl figure called Dinoland Collection of Natural History Series.

Review: Chasmosaurus (Age of the Dinosaurs by PNSO)

Chasmosaurus is by no means the largest ceratopsian, reaching only around 4.8 metres in length and 2.2 tons in mass. Nor does it boast a particularly intimidating or bizarre array of horns like its fellow Canadians Regaliceratops, Styracosaurus, and Triceratops.

Chasmosaurus is a fairly well known ceratopsian that lived in Canada during the Campanian era of the Late Cretacious.  It’s characterized by a distinctly tall and wide frill accompanied by three horns on its face.  At least three individual species of this dinosaur are known due to variation amongst frills and horns on various skulls.

Review: Chasmosaurus (Haolonggood)

Haolonggood has once again given us another high demand dinosaur that’s been mostly ignored by other toy companies. In doing so, they’ve helped me complete my decade long quest to own my favorite ceratopsids: Pachyrhinosaurus, Nasutoceratops, Einiosaurus, Centrosaurus, Pentaceratops and now finally, Chasmosaurus.

Chasmosaurus is surely one of the strangest additions to the Jurassic Park toyline. Although it was at least a dinosaur (unlike Dimetrodon, Estemmenosuchus etc.) it was never mentioned in the books or movies, and isn’t the sort of dinosaur that your ordinary MOTGP (Member Of The General Public…nothing to do with the Moto GP, hail Rossi) could recall from memory.

Review: Feathered Dinos Tube (Safari Ltd)

4 (21 votes)
Safari Ltd have produced several tubes (or ‘toobs’ as they call them) that contain a diverse selection of mini-dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals. These tubes are a great choice for the indecisive amongst us. Why pick one single large dinosaur when you can get an entire tube of small dinosaurs for the same price.
