Review: Ceratosaurus (Jurassic Park 3, Hammond Collection by Mattel)

Gripe all you want about Jurassic Park 3 but we must give credit where credit is due. The movie featured a diverse assortment of dinosaurs with arguably the best color schemes in the franchise. Gone were the dull grays and browns of the first two films, JP3 went wild like a kid with a coloring book and the movie was better for it, though not by much.

Review: Quetzalcoatlus (Jurassic World: Dominion, Massive Action by Mattel)

Genus: Brand: , Classification: Age: Type: Scale:

4.3 (19 votes)

When the prologue (and later, trailer) for Jurassic World: Dominion dropped, it was met with a lot of grievances from our community. To be fair, there was a lot to gripe about, from anachronistic animals mingling together, to the sloppy anatomy typical of the franchise.

Review: Dimetrodon (Soft Model by Favorite)

Genus: Brand: Classification: Age: Type: Scale: ,

4.5 (11 votes)

Favorite’s take on the classic pre-dinosaur land predator offers a more modern image of the synapsid than most, for its time.

Dimetrodon is one of the quintessential figures in prehistoric life iconography. The sail-backed, quadrupedal carnivore is often mistaken for a dinosaur, but is in fact considered more ancestral to mammals.
