Another day, another Jurassic World review. This time it’s the Walmart exclusive Battle Damage Monolophosaurus that comes with the T. rex I reviewed not too long ago. For those who are new to the community and not up to speed on your dinosaurs, Monolophosaurus was a species of theropod dinosaur that is named after a large crest on its head.

With the Jurassic World license now in the hands of people who actually care about the toys they make, we now have a large selection of toys that (so far) have proven to be a massive improvement over the poorly designed dreck that Hasbro has created for the last film in the series.

So, the time has come to review my first Jurassic World toy from Mattel. I have chosen the Battle Damage Tyrannosaurus rex that comes with a Monolophosaurus, which is exclusive to Walmart in North America.

Once upon a time, back in the year 2016, I was in negotiations with Jesus Toledo AKA Jetoar to create a Tyrannosaurus rex for his Paleo-Creatures line, and it was set to test the waters to see how well large figurines would sell in his line.

Review: Velociraptor (Conquering the Earth by Schleich)

There’s no doubt that Velociraptor is very common dinosaur on the market, but Schleich has created at least seven versions of the infamous dromaeosaur over the years. Today’s review is of their latest take on the speedy predator, and sadly, it is a downgrade from the 2017 Utahraptor.

Review: Carnotaurus (2018)(Conquering the Earth by Schleich)

Over the last few decades or so, Carnotaurus has become a very popular choice for dinosaur toy lines. This is likely due in part to its unique characteristics that make it stand out from a shelf full of plastic theropods.

Following up on my previous review, now I’ll look at the second Animal Adventure by Takara Tomy toy in my collection: the Tyrannosaurus rex. This dinosaur needs no introduction so let’s just get on with the review!

Futabasaurus was an elasmosaurid plesiosaur from the Late Cretaceous of Japan. It has become one of the country’s favorite prehistoric animals to create in figure form. Look at almost any Japanese dinosaur toy line and you’re likely to find a Futabasaurus in the mix.

A lot of new figures have come out in 2017 [vote for your favourites here – Ed], but perhaps none have become more controversial than the Acrocanthosaurus that Schleich have created for their ‘Conquering the Earth’ dinosaurs collection.

Review: Scelidosaurus (Paleo-creatures)

Up for review today is the recently released model of the primitive thyreophoran Scelidosaurus harrisonii, created by Jetoar (Jesús Toledo) for his Paleo-creatures line of models. Scelidosaurus is a dinosaur that is seldom seen in figure form.

Review: Stegosaurus (Version 1)(Recur)

When it comes to dinosaur toy lines, Stegosaurus is almost always a necessity. So when Recur first created their line of soft toys for kids, they were sure to include the plated lizard. There are currently two different versions to choose from and today I will be reviewing the first one, made back in 2015.

Review: Kentrosaurus (Conquering the Earth by Schleich)

Genus: Brand: Classification: , Age: Type:

Kentrosaurus is one of those dinosaurs that almost everyone in this community has heard of, as it’s basically a cousin of Stegosaurus with more spikes and spines coming out of its shoulders. It may have been smaller than Stegosaurus, but that did not mean that it was not potentially dangerous, as the animal had enough spikes to take on even the largest of predators.
