If I’m going to be truly honest, I kind of regretted buying this figure at first, but it kind of grew on me after a while. What we have here is a repaint of the 2015 Bashers and Biters Spinosaurus, which I reviewed here on the blog last year.

With Schleich’s 2017 crop of models consisting of animals that hail from the Late Jurassic to the Early Cretaceous, it is understandable that at least one Jurassic sauropod would be released. Although to be honest, I was hoping we would get a new Apatosaurus, or even Brontosaurus.

Utahraptor is one of those dinosaurs that I see as being overrated because the media seems to love it due to the fact that it was a larger dromaeosaur then the Velociraptors from Jurassic Park.

When you read the title of this review, what do you expect to see? If you’re expecting some sort of new species of Dilophosaurus, then you’re giving the minds at Hasbro way too much credit. In reality, it’s a retool of their Bashers and Biters T.

Review: Tyrannosaurus rex (2016)(Museum Line by Bullyland)

This Tyrannosaurus rex is one of two medium-sized models released in 2016 for Bullyland’s Museum Line, and this year they will be joined by a Triceratops and an Archaeopteryx. One thing I have noticed people complaining about is that it seems like Bullyland is regressing when it comes to the accuracy of their models, but honestly, I’m not too familiar with the line to determine if this is true or not.

For my second Definitely Dinosaurs soft model review, I will be tackling their rendition of Stegosaurus. Right off the bat, this model is downright cute, and it is clear it was made for toddlers because of the bright colours and the hard vinyl plastic it is made off.

Ever since someone reviewed a Boley Dilophosaurus, I began to rethink exactly what is open for reviewing on this blog. I thought I would test the waters by reviewing one of my cheap “Chinasaurs” brand dinosaurs that I have been buying every time I go to the local vegetable or fruit festivals, whenever they are available.

Review: Herrerasaurus (The First Giants by Schleich)

What’s this, another Hybrid? Yes, indeed it is, and the reason I keep buying these is because I wish to see the Jurassic World page complete with all of the Bashers and Biters models. Apart from the Indominus Rex, no other hybrids appeared in Jurassic World (though I fear the same can’t be said about its upcoming sequel), so I am happy for now that we will not get any clueless mothers or rabid fans requesting the likes of Papo or Rebor to create something like this.

The subject of today’s review is one of Jetoar’s first models. He made this Torvosaurus before I contacted him about making one-of-a-kind models in the past, but only recently has he made it available for sale. The only issue with this model is that it was listed at 1:40 scale, but after he did some rethinking, it turned out to be one of his first 1:35 scale models.

Well, thanks to the Indominus Rex’s unfortunate popularity with the current generation, Hasbro thought it would be a good idea to release an entire line dedicated to fully fictional dinosaurs, complete with ridiculous designs made to make the most rambunctious of children shout out the word “BADASS” before getting reprimanded by their parents for cursing.

For one, the company now has a new owner who was once the CEO of Lego, and has since applied some things that he done with that company to Schleich.
