Here’s a pretty nifty new addition to the Jurassic Park ’93 Classic series: the Tyrannosaurus rex Off-Road Tracker Pack.
As you can plainly see, this latest tyrant lizard has a noticeably unique head sculpt. Between that and the colour scheme, it’s clearly a homage to the Jurassic Park Series 2 Young T.
Check this out! Mattel’s Legacy Collection Reimagined Roarin’ Real Feel Carnotaurus (geez, that’s a long title) follows in the footsteps of the Tyrannosaurus rex Off-Road Tracker Pack by replicating the colour scheme of Kenner’s Jurassic Park Series 2 “Demon.”
Not only is it a more accurate representation of Carnotaurus, it also features electronic roaring.
Someone at Mattel must really like Suchomimus, because here’s the second toy of it for this year.
Unlike the first one, this crocodile mimic will be sold by itself as part of the Gigantic Trackers line. Like the others that have come before it, it looks like it’ll be a lot of fun to play with!
Now here’s some really cool news: Mattel has made the first ever toy of the North American elasmosaur Styxosaurus!
Apparently this will be in the same Gigantic Trackers wave as the Suchomimus. It is the first Jurassic World plesiosaur to have flippers that move as part of the action feature.
Yet another Jurassic World Legacy Reimagined set has shown up on Target’s website: Chopper Chase Pack.
It consists of a red and black Atrociraptor, an Asset Containment Unit pilot with helmet and weapon, and a projectile-firing helicopter of highly dubious flight capability.
The shark mouth motif on the chopper may be a homage to the Capture Copter from Kenner’s original Jurassic Park toy line.
Three new LEGO Jurassic World sets have been revealed! First up is a brick-built Baby Bumpy Ankylosaurus.
As you can see, Bumpy features a swinging head and tail and lots of yummy fresh greens to munch on.
Dinosaur Missions: Stegosaurus Discovery finally introduces an iconic dinosaur to the LEGO world.
Earlier this week, we saw the reveal of the very retro-looking Electronic Real Feel Tyrannosaurus rex. Now check out its packaging, which is similarly a homage to the original 1993 Jurassic Park packaging by Kenner.
Also newly revealed are three additional Classic ’93 products.
Among the many new toys Mattel is releasing for this year is the Electronic Real Feel Skin Tyrannosaurus rex. The colour scheme is clearly a homage to the original Electronic T. rex from Kenner’s 1993 Jurassic Park line, while the swallowing gimmick with a retrieval slit in the belly is reused from the Bull T.
Jurassic Park/World fans should be very excited by all the new Hammond Collection toys that have been revealed this week, both of the dinosaur and human persuasion.

The Jurassic World line shows no indication of slowing down next year. Some of these newly revealed toys are species that have been done before by Mattel, some have been done by other toy companies, and some have never been done before at all.

Mattel’s latest take on Tyrannosaurus rex is the “All Out Attack” toy. The colour scheme is sadly nothing to wrote home about, however . . .
. . . this tyrant boasts a brand new ability: extending teeth. Yup, you read that right. The teeth in the upper jaw can extend to nearly twice their length.
