Adventure Force, from what I can gather, is a Walmart brand that mostly sells repackaged knockoff NERF guns, so I didn’t expect much quality from their toys. The other Adventure Force animals I saw alongside this one were generic 80s-style tripodal dinosaur models that they’ve apparently acquired the rights to, and a tube that I couldn’t get a good look into but appeared to mostly be unique contents, if somewhat simple.

UKRD is a rather mysterious company that produced mostly John Sibbick inspired dinosaur figures from 1987 to 1993. In fact a lot of the inspirations for UKRD’s toy figures can be found in one single book, “The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Dinosaurs” (1985), written by Dr.
Feathered or scaly? Upright or vertical? Predator or scavenger? The king of the tyrant lizards has gone through a lot of changes over the last century, and I dare say will continue to alter as more discoveries are made. As a result, there are hundreds of figures, representing all the variations it could possibly have.
As it stands there is only one review for Irritator on the blog, Irritator being an early Cretaceous spinosaurid from Brazil. That toy is by CollectA and it’s pushing a decade old and quite clearly “early CollectA” in terms of quality.

I don’t own all the Xtractaurs, and I’m not sure if anyone does, but I feel I’ve been able to amass enough to give a decent overview of the series. Anyone who wants to review an individual Xtractaur for the Dinosaur Toy Blog, included in this review or otherwise, has my blessing.
In an Early Cretaceous forest of what would today be known as China, strange, bird-like creatures can be seen moving around in the thick vegetation and canopy high above.These animals are, at first glance, looks like birds roughly the size of a raven, with long tails and black plumage.

Can there ever be too many Tyrannosaurus toys? Chap Mei didn’t think so, and made several versions, that, while they differed in colouration and other details, all seem to have taken most of their anatomical cues from the way this genus was portrayed in the Jurassic Park franchise.
Where abelisaurids are concerned the genus Majungasaurus is second in popularity only to Carnotaurus. It has a few things working in its favor. It lived at the very end of the Cretaceous period in what is now Madagascar and was the dominant predator of its ecosystem.

One of the most famous dinosaurs from Europe, Baryonyx ( Baryonyx walkeri), has seen its fame continues to rise through the decades, and will continue no doubt. It even made an appearance in the hugely successful Jurassic park franchise, a testament to its fame.

I don’t usually buy LEGO, but the sets they’ve been putting out for the new Jurassic World: Legend of Isla Nublar animated series have really caught my eye. Having a bit of money and way too much time on my hands, I decided to take the plunge with the most expensive set from last year, T.
Spinosaurus is one of the most popular dinosaurs in figure form. The dinotoycollector website has more than 100 entries for the genus, and collectively we’ve reviewed more than 40 here on the blog. For that reason, I’m not going to spend much time on the new Spinosaurus statue by Damtoys, instead focusing on the fish that was included with it.

Vitae was a company that, much like PNSO, busted onto the dinosaur toy scene with some fantastic figures only to disappear entirely after a couple of years. Unlike PNSO, however, Vitae hasn’t made a comeback.
