Dinosaurs and other archosaurs were but one of a number of fascinating groups of animals that existed during the Triassic Period. Another such group consisted of the rhynchosaurs. These herbivorous reptiles had stocky, lizard-like bodies and powerful jaws that functioned much like scissors.

When you think of the toys made for Jurassic World by Hasbro, there are probably a lot of colorful adjectives that pop into your head . I warn you not utter them out loud as there are preschool toys present.  One word I did not hear many people say about the toy line was “fun”.Â

Warning: If you are a serious collector and only interested in dinosaur toys that are prime examples of their species with impeccable accuracy, amazing detail, colors, and are brilliant works of paleo art, you may want to skip this review, as this figure is lacking in those key areas.Â

Pentaceratops was a very large chasmosaurine ceratopsian that ranged from Canada to the southern United States during the Late Cretaceous. One specimen described in 1998 was even said to possess the largest skull of any land animal. But in 2011, it was renamed as a separate genus, Titanoceratops, on the basis that it shared more characteristics with Triceratops than Pentaceratops.

Its large, sturdy bones form an effective structure while its thick fur hide acts as a waterproof covering.

If I’m going to be truly honest, I kind of regretted buying this figure at first, but it kind of grew on me after a while. What we have here is a repaint of the 2015 Bashers and Biters Spinosaurus, which I reviewed here on the blog last year.
