Review: Tyrannosaurus rex Maquette (Sideshow Collectibles “Dinosauria”)
Photos by Dan Liebman and Jeremy Killian
What can be said of the Tyrannosaurus rex? Easily the most popular of all prehistoric animals, this universally recognized carnivore embodies the might and majesty of the ancient world. In any exhibit or product line, his presence is absolutely mandatory, his regal status beyond question.

Review: Tyrannosaurus rex vs Triceratops diorama (Sideshow Collectibles)
Sideshow Collectibles, having released a very popular piece based on their newly acquired Jurassic Park license, has discovered something: Dinosaurs rock. Sure, they make interesting subject matter in art, but if there’s one thing that consistently performs well in sales, it’s dinosaurs.
Review: Tyrannosaurus Rex w/articulated jaw (Prehistoric & Extinct by Mojö)
Ever since Tyrannosaurus rex was described back in 1905, this amazing animal has captured our imaginations. Its not hard to see why. It was one of the largest land carnivores of all time and it had a huge skull with bone crushing jaws. It is so recognizable that toy makers just can’t help themselves on trying to capitalize on their popularity by making as many as they can.

For my 70th review, there was no question who the subject should be.
Review: Tyrant King Skeleton/’T-Rex Skeleton’ (Geoworld/B.C.Bones)
Before I begin I want to state the obvious. Yes, Geoworld does make some terrible figures, but when it comes to their many fossil and skeleton replicas, we can see that Geoworld has potential. The ‘Tyrant King Skeleton’ is just one of many skeletal models that Geoworld has to offer, and it can be purchased in two different forms.

Review: Utahceratops (Beasts of the Mesozoic by Creative Beast Studio)
Utahceratops gettyi was a fairly large chasmosaurine ceratopsian that grew to a length of about seven metres and a mass of over two tons. As its name suggests, it was discovered in Utah, in the fossil-rich Kaiparowits Formation of the Grand Staircase–Escalante National Monument. In 2017, the monument’s size was reduced by half in order to allow gas and oil and mining companies to exploit it, which would have destroyed countless fossils in the process.
