Check this out! Mattel’s Legacy Collection Reimagined Roarin’ Real Feel Carnotaurus (geez, that’s a long title) follows in the footsteps of the Tyrannosaurus rex Off-Road Tracker Pack by replicating the colour scheme of Kenner’s Jurassic Park Series 2 “Demon.”

Not only is it a more accurate representation of Carnotaurus, it also features electronic roaring.

Here’s a pretty nifty new addition to the Jurassic Park ’93 Classic series: the Tyrannosaurus rex Off-Road Tracker Pack.

As you can plainly see, this latest tyrant lizard has a noticeably unique head sculpt. Between that and the colour scheme, it’s clearly a homage to the Jurassic Park Series 2 Young T.

Review: Tyrannosaurus (Bite Club by Mattel)

Despite being the most popular of all dinosaurs, with multiple figures to its name released per year, everyone is still on the hunt for what they consider the “definitive” T. rex. Companies have tried to deliver it with mixed success.

Without much fanfare, late 2023 saw the release of a whole new line of Jurassic World products from Mattel. Dubbed Bite Club (Get it? Like Fight Club?), these figures are sculpted in the chibi style that is common in anime and manga.

Well now, here’s an interesting addition to the Jurassic Park ’93 Classic line: the Dennis Nedry Track & Chase Pack.

The set includes a motorcycle equipped with capture gear, a Velociraptor whose coloration appears to be based on the 2001 Alpha Raptor toy, and a Nedry figure with the same familiar visage, but quite a different physique.

Review: Mamenchisaurus (Jurassic World, Legacy Collection by Mattel)

3.9 (36 votes)

Mattel’s previous large sauropods made sense. Brachiosaurus, Apatosaurus, and Dreadnoughtus all had significant screen time in the Jurassic franchise. And even though Mattel dutifully, and shockingly, made toys of them all, fans wanted more.

Review: Metriacanthosaurus (Jurassic Park Hammond Collection by Mattel)

The release of genera such as Metriacanthosaurus, Concavenator, and Irritator in the Hammond Collection line was initially met with controversy. Some collectors were excited to see non-canonical dinosaurs join the prestigious Hammond Collection while others were dismayed, hoping the dinosaurs seen in the films would be given priority.

“Season’s greetings, fellow dinosaur lovers! Yes, it is us once again, Dr. Bella Bricking and my invaluable partner Beth Buildit, here to share some comfort and joy with the reviewing of yet another Jurassic Park 30th Anniversary set!”

“I can barely see with this thing on, Doc!”

“Let’s stick to the script, if you please, Beth.

Captivz Compsognathus

Compsognathus longipes was a small late Jurassic theropod discovered in Europe and the first theropod known from mostly complete remains. For a time, it was also the smallest dinosaur ever discovered. Compsognathus doesn’t really need an introduction, however, we all know it from the Jurassic Park franchise.

Finally! Roughly 6 months after acquiring it I’m getting around to reviewing the Hammond Collection Pachycephalosaurus. In this review you’ll see outdoor pictures that were taken in March, when I originally wanted to review it! They’ve been sitting on my computer, taunting me, reminding me to get around to this toy.

It all began with a friendship, an illness, and the return to my favorite franchise. It is actually a sad story, but I feel like I must tell it because today is the 22nd anniversary of Jurassic Park III’s release in the United States, which is where I am writing this review from.
