Ornitholestes was a coelurosaur from the Late Jurassic of North America. It most famously appeared in the BBC Walking With Dinosaurs series and featured in the second Jurassic Park book, The Lost World.

The first fossils of the Late Triassic sauropodomorph Mussaurus were discovered in the ’70s by an expedition led by the late Jose Bonaparte in Argentina. These consisted of eggs and juveniles small enough to fit in your hands; hence the name, meaning “Mouse Lizard.” However, this name isn’t particularly fitting given that in 2013, the first adult specimens of Mussaurus were described and estimated to reach up 20 feet in length.
Forget the Amber Collection Velociraptor, Destroy ‘N Devour Indominus, or Legacy Collection Brachiosaurus. THIS is the Jurassic World toy to get. Joking aside this Snap Squad Tyrannosaurus really is the most fun I’ve had with a Jurassic World toy so far.
This review might come across as being a tad redundant because the toy we’re looking at today is basically a re-tool of another toy already reviewed, the Roarivores Triceratops. There are oodles of other Jurassic World toys that still need reviews and this one is admittedly not terribly exciting.

After more than a decade since Jurassic Park III was released, the next entry in the franchise finally got to see the day of light in 2015, after a long and troubled development cycle.
“It’s, it’s a dinosaur”, these were the first words uttered in Jurassic Park upon seeing the first full sized dinosaur in the film, a Brachiosaurus. We see our protagonist’s reactions first and their acting sets the tone.

Back in May 2019, the Dual Attack Allosaurus and Nasutoceratops toys began showing up on shelves at Walmart, which caught people by surprise, as no images of these had been revealed online beforehand.
If there’s one group of dinosaurs that have never before graced a child’s toy box then it would almost certainly be the alvarezsaurids. Alvarezsaurids are small, maniraptoran dinosaurs whose fossils were found in North and South America, as well as Asia. These dinosaurs had long legs and necks, and were probably feathered, but the main characteristic that sets most of these particular dinosaurs apart, is their insanely tiny arms, which end in a single clawed digit.

The Legacy Collection line is one of the most controversial assortments of the Mattel Jurassic World toy line, what with having very poor distribution worldwide except for the most part in the US, and only at Target stores due to it being a retailer exclusive (exceptions being the Spinosaurus, etc).

Perhaps the most popular Paleozoic creature is none other than Dimetrodon itself. Although Dimetrodon is not a dinosaur, having lived long before them in the Permian period (and is not even a reptile, as it is in fact a synapsid), it has often featured alongside them and other creatures of the Mesozoic in various toy lines.
Nasutoceratops was a centrosaurine ceratopsian dinosaur that lived during the late Cretaceous in the south-western United States. Only having been described in 2013 this very unique looking dinosaur has gained a bit of popularity with toys released from both Safari and CollectA in 2015, and now from Mattel for their Jurassic World line.
