The new hybrid created for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has received several figures from Mattel. The first one that was readily available was the ‘Super Posable’ Indoraptor. The ‘Grab ‘n Growl’ Indoraptor, which will be the subject of this review, is the second one to be released.

The Walmart exclusive (in the United States) Battle Damage series has produced a number of my favorite figures from Mattel’s Jurassic World line. The Battle Damage Pteranodon, which is the subject of this review, is one such figure.

In 2001, “cinematic genius” Joe Johnston introduced Ankylosaurus to the Jurassic Park film franchise in one of the worst scene transitions in the series (remember, this is the same franchise that thought going from a screaming mother to a yawning Jeff Goldblum was a good idea).

Every now and again the Dinosaur Toy Blog receives independent reviews of the same toy within hours of each other. And so, in the generous spirit of the season, here is a rare special double-bill review by two guest reviewers, Loon and Carnosaur, who both have something to say about the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Dracorex by Mattel.

It’s fantastic to see Mattel make so many different species of dinosaurs for the Jurassic World FK line. Minmi is another one of those wonderful rarely seen dinosaurs that is gracing us in plastic form. This animal is not just a mini me version of an ankylosaur.
