Although Sinclair’s figurines all resemble their giant sculpture counterparts to some degree, the Stegosaurus is perhaps the most strikingly close of them all, with more grace than typically seen in other artwork for the time.
Stegosaurus has been one of the most recognizable dinosaur genera since its discovery and description in 1877.

Continuing with our overview of the 7 inch Cartoon Series by Wing Crown, Stegosaurus is next in line. Like the others in the series, this is simplified in its ‘early tetrapod’, just-walked-out-from-the-water form, with no anatomical intricacies to be found beyond the obligatory plates and tail spikes.
Most ankylosaurs are classified as either Ankylosauridae or Nodosauridae. Ankylosaurids are easily distinguishable by their wide, blocky heads and tails terminating in solid bone clubs, and include the likes of Ankylosaurus itself, Euoplocephalus, Jinyunpelta, Pinacosaurus, and Zuul.
