Photographs and review by ‘Resurrection of the dinosaurs,’ edited by Suspsy

Back in my review of the Bullyland Smilodon, I had mentioned that Bullyland had released nothing special or new for 2017, just resculpts of their past Triceratops and Archaeopteryx models.

Review: Corythosaurus (Natural History Museum by Toyway)

3.3 (11 votes)
Review and photos by Paul Carter, edited by Suspsy
Corythosaurus, the “helmet lizard,” is one of the best-known “duck billed” dinosaurs. Discovered in 1914 in North America by Barnum Brown, it is a lambeosaurine hadrosaur and, like its more famous cousin Parasaurolophus, had a crest that possibly served as a sound chamber that gave the animal a distinctive call.

Review: Psittacosaurus (Starlux)

Review and Photographs by Amargasaurus cazaui, edited by Gwangi
Starlux began in France, in 1945, producing small miniatures of soldiers and animals. In the late sixties and early seventies several launches were done of various prehistoric mammals, dinosaurs, and other animals, as well as prehistoric man.

Review: Suchomimus (Mini)(Schleich)

Genus: Brand: Classification: , Age: Type:

Review and photographs by Rajvinder “IrritatorRaji” Phull, edited by Suspsy
Ever since its discovery in 1997, Suchomimus has never had any difficulty shying away from the public eye, even appearing in the Warpath: Jurassic Park video game only 11 months after it was officially named in November 1998.

Review: Smilodon (Bullyland)

Photographs and review by ‘Resurrection of the dinosaurs,’ edited by Suspsy
Bullyland is well known for its range of prehistoric animal models for an old museum line, which is now sadly discontinued. One week ago, I saw many Bullyland figures put on sale at my local toy shop; there were modern animal figures and some prehistoric ones that are still in production.

Review: Mini-Dino Multi-Pack (“Battle Damage”)(Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom by Mattel)

Review and photographs by Cretaceous Crab, edited by Suspsy
Let me start out by saying that this pack of figures are obviously part of the Jurassic Park/Jurassic World toy franchise, and likewise, each figure is designed to be a representation of its silver screen counterpart.

Review: Psittacosaurus (Conquering the Earth by Schleich)

Genus: Brand: Classification: , Age: Type:

4.6 (18 votes)
Review by Amargasaurus cazaui, Edited by Gwangi
In early 2018 Schleich introduced several new models for the year, including a new Psittacosaurus. The model appears to be P. Sibiricus, and is surprisingly well done. Measuring in at just under 5 inches and over 2 inches tall at its highest point, it is a decent sized model.

Review: Iguanodon ‘Aladar’ (Disney’s Dinosaur by McDonald’s)

Guest Review written by ‘Resurrection of the dinosaurs.’, edited by Suspsy.
A wide variety of dinosaur movies have been released over the decades, often accompanied by merchandise such as toys and games among others. One such movie is Disney’s Dinosaur, released back in 2000.

Review: Triceratops ‘Doyle’ (Age of the Dinosaurs by PNSO)

Genus: Brand: Classification: , Age: Type:

3.9 (17 votes)
Review and photos by Apatosaurus3232, edited by Suspsy
With the recent news of PNSO coming back from the dead, I figured it was time to review their Triceratops ‘Doyle’ model. This beauty was sculpted by the incredible Zhao Chuang. Doyle is meant to be a complementary piece to their Tyrannosaurus Wilson model.

Review: Dimorphodon (Papo)

Genus: Brand: Classification: Age: Type:

3.3 (15 votes)
Review and photos by Apatosaurus3232, edited by Suspsy
In 2017, Papo released their largest assortment of prehistoric figures to date, from stellar sculpts like the Acrocanthosaurus and Ceratosaurus to mixed bags like the Polacanthus. Today I’ll be reviewing the Dimorphodon, which falls into the mixed bag category.
