Hello readers! This is Emperor Dinobot, and those who know me know that I respect highly articulated dinosaur toys. So today, we are going to review one of my favourite dinosaurs, Stegosaurus, from my favorite line: Carnage by ReSaurus!

Review: Prehistoric Tube B (CollectA)

3.9 (15 votes)
Time again to downsize with CollectA’s second tube collection. Like the previous set I reviewed, this one came out in late 2015 and contains no fewer than ten teeny toy dinosaurs and other prehistoric monsters, a couple of them making their debut with CollectA.

Review: Tuojiangosaurus (Age of the Dinosaurs by PNSO)

Genus: Brand: Classification: , Age: Type:

4.1 (12 votes)
What an impressive debut PNSO has made this year! From huge resin statues ranging from $500 to $2000(yowza!) to large vinyl figures and to a variety of finely detailed miniatures, it looks like this Chinese company is going to be causing us dinosaur collectors much joy and much lighter wallets in future!

Review: Ankylosaurus (CollectA)

Genus: Brand: Classification: , , Age: Type:

2.2 (24 votes)
With its wide muzzle and tiny, leaf-shaped teeth, Ankylosaurus, like the rest of its family, was clearly a herbivore? Or was it? In the summer of 2015, a study of its close Asian relative Pinacosaurus concluded that the animal possessed a long, prehensile tongue that it used to pluck and scoop up not only vegetation, but possibly insects and other invertebrates on occasion.

Review: Edmontonia (Tyco)

Genus: Brand: Classification: , , Age: Type:

4.3 (7 votes)
Edmontonia is a popular genus of nodosaurid that has been produced by toy companies many times over the years. CollectA, Schleich, and Battat have all taken a crack at the beast with fairly good results. Edmontonia is a very well-known genus with articulated specimens first discovered in 1915!

The objective of many lines of dinosaur figures (aside from making money) is to educate children and adults alike about extinct animals. In the last ten years, many lines have been integrated with modern technology to give children more information on dinosaurs besides a 3D view of these animals.

Review: Kentrosaurus (4D Puzzle by Fame Master)

Genus: Brand: Classification: , Age: Type: ,

3.4 (5 votes)
Poor Kentrosaurus, it always plays second fiddle to its larger cousin Stegosaurus.  Still, the genus has proved popular enough to be reproduced as a toy in several instances. And oddly enough, most of them have proved to be great representations.

Review: Dinosaur Advent Calendar 2016 (Schleich)

3.1 (10 votes)
Review and photos by Tim Sosa
This year Schleich followed in the footsteps of companies like Lego and Playmobil in offering an advent calendar, but this one is dinosaur-themed! 24 days of dinosaur goodies sounds pretty attractive, so I bit the bullet and picked one up.

Review: Stegosaurus (Walking With Dinosaurs by Toyway)

There comes a time in almost all dinosaur toy lines when three species must be immortalized in plastic: Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, and Stegosaurus, them being the most popular and well-known dinosaur species.

Review: Stegosaurus (Conquering the Earth by Schleich)

Before I review this figure, there’s something that I want to lay out about the new figures from Schleich, as 2016 has been something of a confusing year with them. For one, the company now has a new owner who was once the CEO of Lego, and has since applied some things that he done with that company to Schleich.
