My forum name is Bokisaurus or “Boki” for short. My real name is Ashley. I started collecting dinosaur figures 13 years ago. When I started, I collected only figures from my favorite groups of dinosaurs: sauropods, ceratopsians, and duckbills. It’s only within the last 8 years that I started adding figures from all the different groups. Besides collecting dinosaur toy figures, my other passion in life is Art and the outdoors. I take every opportunity I have to go out to the coast or the forest, taking some dino figures with me to make dioramas as an added bonus! I live in Seattle, Washington where it’s always sunny :o)

Sauropods are famous for their large size, long necks and even longer tails.This is our typical image of what a sauropod looks like. Sure, there are some that are weird like sporting impressive neck spikes, tail clubs, and body armor, but through the years we have been used to some of these oddities thanks to the popularity of Amargasaurus, Saltasaurus, Shunosaurus, etc.But once in a while, a really odd sauropod comes along that really have us scratching our heads in puzzlement.

When it comes to suffering from identity crisis, no other extinct species exhibits this more than the mighty Megalodon (Carcharocles megalodon), which is ironic given how popular it is.This identity crisis is of course due to the fact that very little fossil material is available to help create an accurately restoration of it and that the majority of the restorations, from paleo art to movies, are all based on the extant Great White shark, a species that many believed for years it resembles.
Despite this crisis, Megalodon is the most famous of the extinct sharks, and possibly only surpassed in popularity by the extant Great White that still roam todays oceans.

It’s been a good six years since Diabloceratops first burst into the toy figure world scene. It was way back in 2013 when CollectA then followed shortly by Safari both released a figure of this unique ceratopsian in the same year.
It seems like Diabloceratops was destined to be a popular species for toy makers to produce.

Ceratopsians, along with the sauropods are my favorite groups of dinosaurs. I’m actually surprised that I don’t have many reviews of these two groups. So, I was excited to hear that PNSO (yes, they have been pumping new figures so fast!) was releasing a new ceratopsian in their larger size figure line.

A long time ago, I traveled back in time. Well, not exactly, more like a road trip through time to some of the most scenic and fossil rich place in the America west.In this trip I visited the Dinosaur National Monument in Colorado and Utah.
