Hello Dinofans! This review marks my 40th review for the blog! It took years to get to this number. So I wanted to celebrate the occasion by doing something different, fun and really silly, but also relevant to the blog.Choosing a subject for the occasion was hard, but I ultimately decided to highlight our little furry friend.
A lot of ornithischian dinosaurs lacked teeth in the front of the mouth, having only cheek teeth that ground up food, and often a beak for clipping vegetation. The family Heterodontosauridae (“different-toothed lizards”) was unusual among ornithischians in having three different kinds of teeth in different parts of the mouth.
The Chinese company PNSO only came onto the scene about three years ago but in that short amount of time, and despite a brief hiatus, they’ve delivered a vast array of jaw dropping collectables like nothing we’ve seen before. By and large the models produced thus far have fit into a few different size and price ranges but none of them really met in the middle.
Since PNSO found its way back to business, they keep on exciting the dinosaur collector community. I’d dare say each and every of their prehistoric models finds a warm welcome amongst our blog and beyond.
As a collector, 2019 is a harsh year, there’s just so many worthy models to obtain, but ressources need to be spread out.

An air of nervousness engulfs the once serine scene at the forest edge. Herds of herbivores that just minutes ago were busy playing, eating, and calling to each other now stood silently still, on high alert. Their sudden change in behavior is warranted.
The Morrison formation of the western United States has provided us with some of the most iconic dinosaur genera ever discovered. Even as new larger or more flamboyant species are discovered and described in this current golden age of paleontology the classics continue to endure in the public eye; Allosaurus and Stegosaurus for example, and the sauropods; Brachiosaurus, Brontosaurus, and Diplodocus among others.

Part 2 of Kaiyodo Dinoland Natural History review series
A long time ago, I traveled back in time. Well, not exactly, more like a road trip through time to some of the most scenic and fossil rich place in the America west.In this trip I visited the Dinosaur National Monument in Colorado and Utah.

I usually do not like reviewing a repaint of an original sculpt that has already been reviewed here on the blog, simply due to the fact that I am left with not much to talk about except for the new paint job.

Images like the tripod stance of theropods, tail-dragging dinosaurs of all sorts, and elasmosaurines with their swan-like necks raised out of the water.
Anchiornis huxleyi was only described a decade ago and yet has gone on to become one of the most well understood dinosaur species in recent memory. Hundreds of exceptionally well preserved fossils of this late Jurassic paravian have been found in the bone beds of Liaoning, China.

Part 1 of Kaiyodo Dinoland Natural History review series
Greetings dinofans and welcome to another review! I promise its not another Spinosaur review this time! Haha.
Kaiyodo is perhaps more well known for their small size set of prehistoric figures, such as the Dinotales and Chocholasaurus.Many years ago, Kaiyodo released a collection of large, hollow vinyl figure called Dinoland Collection of Natural History Series.

There are not too many of the major brands given to recreating prehistoric fauna in plastic that have not had a woolly mammoth in their range at one time or another, but the number of woolly rhino figures out there might be lucky to crack the double figure mark if a tally were taken.
