Review: Iguanodon (Soft Model 2020 series by Favorite Co. Ltd.)

Genus: Brand: Classification: , Age: Type: Scale:

4.4 (9 votes)

This is an overall pleasing and recognizable figure of the famous dinosaur, but it does have some setbacks in design for a 2020 rendition.

Iguanodon isn’t as flashy of a dinosaur as Tyrannosaurus or Triceratops, but its place in the roots of dinosaur history keep the genus as a staple in dino iconography.

Review: Iguanodon (2001) (Bullyland)

Genus: Brand: Classification: , Age: Type:

4 (8 votes)

For some reason the 2001 version of an Iguanodon by Bullyland has not been reviewed yet. This text is going to change that.

I guess I don´t have to tell anyone here anything about lower Cretaceous ornithhischian Iguanodon, one of the most widespread, best known and best examined dinosaur species ever.

Review: Herbivore dinosaur set (Wenno)

2.5 (8 votes)

Cheap dinosaur sets are fairly common on the market, offering a variety of creatures for a reasonable price (though usually picked from a very select group of species), something to keep kids entertained for a few hours. Wenno are a prime example of this, having released a few sets for ancient and modern species.

Review: Prehistoric Animals (Panini, review part 1)

Sticker albums are a staple of many a childhood and they were certainly a part of mine. However, unlike my school  contemporaries in the early 1990s, I didn’t deal with stickers of footballers or garbage pail kids, all my swapsies were dinosaur stickers of course!

Iguanodon papo

As a huge fan of ornithopods I was delighted when Papo unveiled my favourite of all for their 2018 collection, the Iguanodon. One of my happiest experiences was standing in awe of the skeletal mount in the NHM and marvelling at the sheer presence and size of this creature.

Review: Iguanodon (Jurassic Park Junior by Playskool / Hasbro)

Iguanodon Jurassic Park Junior toy

2.6 (11 votes)
This so-called “Li’l Iguanodon” was part of a short-lived ‘Jurassic Park Junior’ toy line released in 2001, presumably prompted by the release of Jurassic Park 3 in cinemas that same year. The line was aimed at young audiences and is made up of cutesy renditions of several dinosaurs from the Jurassic Park film series.

Review: Brachylophosaurus (Jasman)

3.2 (13 votes)
As promised, or should I say threatened, we’re continuing on with my series of Jasman toy reviews. This time we’re looking at a curious little fellow, it’s an ornithopod of sorts, but one of questionable identity. Apparently this figure has been advertised as Maiasaura, Brachylophosaurus, and Iguanodon.

Review: Dinos (Toob by Safari Ltd.)

3 (26 votes)
Safari’s very first prehistory toob is charming, but largely showing its age in the details and aesthetics of the figurines.
Toobs might be the unsung heroes of Safari Ltd.’s toy lines. I see them wherever Safari products are sold, even when their larger, standard-sized kin are absent.

Review: Iguanodon ‘Aladar’ (Disney’s Dinosaur by McDonald’s)

Guest Review written by ‘Resurrection of the dinosaurs.’, edited by Suspsy.
A wide variety of dinosaur movies have been released over the decades, often accompanied by merchandise such as toys and games among others. One such movie is Disney’s Dinosaur, released back in 2000.

Review: Iguanodon (Deluxe by CollectA)

Genus: Brand: Classification: , Age: Type:

4.8 (39 votes)
As CollectA enters their twelfth year of operation, their products continue to improve by leaps and bounds. Last year, they released a sterling Styracosaurus that utterly eclipsed the original one. Now it’s time to see what their new 2018 Deluxe Iguanodon is all about.

Review: Dinosaur Boxset 2 (Toyway)

Review and photos by Indohyus, edited by Suspsy
We’ve all seen them. The crude dinosaur toys that you get in small museum shops for extremely cheap prices, normally just bought by parents to keep their children quiet for a while. The last thing you’d expect is to put six of these together and sell them as a box set.

Review: Iguanodon (Naturecraft)

Genus: Brand: Classification: , Age:

3.6 (7 votes)

The Naturecraft Ltd. company was founded in 1931 in Congleton, Cheshire, UK. It was one of Congleton’s oldest companies, and was headed until its buyout by Managing Director Peter Tomlins. Naturecraft England originally produced figurines such as dogs and other animals, as well as caricatures and other wall art.
